Services

The services offered by Nouveau Image teach lifelong lessons that will change the way you dress, the way you shop, and ultimately enable you to Present Your Best You every day. You will see dramatic results (like those on the TV shows), but Nouveau Image’s services are always presented in a professional and nurturing manner. We will make either subtle or radical changes so that you are presenting your best you whatever your current lifestyle.

• Nouveau Image believes that everyone does not have to have a lot of clothes to look fabulous every day.
• Too many clothes can be oppressive and make getting dressed harder rather than easier.
• Once we establish what your own personal style really is, we can then work towards you “Presenting Your Best You” every day, quickly and easily.

“Presenting Your Best You” Consultation…

$350 for up to four hours, $50/hr additional

Step 1. Image Consultation

• We meet together and you will fill out a questionnaire that will help me understand your objectives with our style appointment.
• We will spend a few minutes discussing your answers as well as your budget.
• I will provide you with a stack of pictures to sort through that will help me understand what styles and colors you are drawn to.

Step 2. Conquering Your Closet

• We head to your closet! We start by finding you a comfortable seat while we go through your closet piece by piece to evaluate and edit.
• We determine which pieces you love, which pieces you like, and which pieces you don’t like.
• We will then concentrate on deciding which pieces will work with your personal style and lifestyle we discussed in step one.
• We will try on clothes, coordinate outfits, and begin reclaiming your wardrobe.
• During this step we will take photos of coordinating outfits that you keep for your records.
• We will leave your clothes sorted and discuss ways to make daily dressing quick and easy.

Step 3. Follow Up

• I will send you an email with a recap of what we discussed, an evaluation of your current wardrobe, wardrobe care notes, and suggested wardrobe additions.
• We will schedule your Seasonal Wardrobe Tune-Up at this time.
• We can also schedule personal shopping at a reduced rate, hair, makeup (for women), personal trainer, and cosmetic dentistry/surgery consultations as desired by you.

Personal Clothes/Shoes/Accessories Shopping

$75/hr (two hour minimum)

• You let me know what you need and I will scour the shops and only bring back appropriate items for you to try at your home or office.
• I will be searching for the best prices for you.
• I do all the legwork so this is truly one stop shopping for you.

Shopping Boot Camp

$450, approximately four hours, includes travel and a quick bite

• This service can include up to three people, so it is perfect for sharing with friends or family.
• This is perfect for people who feel lost and overwhelmed when shopping for clothes.
• You will learn how and where to find the best bargains.
• Learn how to spend wisely and buy items that will enhance your body type and current wardrobe.
• We will discuss the “price per wear” rule.
• We’ll work through the process of finding items that you will love to wear often and will therefore minimize your “price per wear.”
• These lessons will help you curb the urge to buy an item just because it is on sale.
• We also will discuss age appropriate dressing so Shopping Boot Camp is great for teens and adults.
• These lessons will follow you for the rest of you life.

Seasonal Wardrobe Tune-Up (minimum one hour)

$50/hr, approximately one hour

• This service is available to those clients who have completed the Presenting Your Best You Consultation.
• I will help you sort through your wardrobe seasonally.
• This is a quick seasonal tune-up to make sure your clothes are appropriate for the time of year.

Hair and/or Makeup Consultation

$75/hr (one hour minimum)

• For the hair consultation you will meet with a hair specialist at your home. You will spend time looking at pictures and discussing face structure and skin coloring with a specialist who will be pre-informed about your lifestyle, cut and color preferences. The hair consultation service includes a free haircut.
• The make-up consultation will take place at a department store. The make-up specialist will conduct your consultation by going through your current cosmetic bag and discussing lifestyle and skin coloring. The specialist will also lead you through any new purchases and serve as a liaison between you and the salesperson (the specialist is not a commissioned salesperson). The make-up consultation includes a $25 gift certificate towards M.A.C product.

Alterations and Clothing Design

Prices vary

• Nouveau Image has access to a fabulous tailor and a local fashion designer who together can create the perfect items to compliment your wardrobe.
• These creations are generally based on Italian designs, made to order, and will be some of the finest quality items you own.

Special Occasion Shopping

$75/hr (two hour minimum)

• Removes the guess work from finding just the right thing to wear.
• I will take you to a few preselected stores with appropriate apparel for your event and I will be the honest opinion you are looking for.
• Does it look fabulous on you? Is it appropriate for the event? Can we find the same look for less elsewhere? Which accessories will present the polished image you are trying to achieve?
• My fee is not commission based, so I am always trying to find the best look for the best price.

Maternity/Layette Shopping

$75/hr (three hour minimum)

• Building a maternity wardrobe can be frustrating on a limited budget and with limited time.
• I will find a maternity wardrobe for you that will work throughout the pregnancy as well as post pregnancy.
• The maternity service is usually done in two phases depending on the sizes of your budget and your belly.
• I used to own a maternity and children’s shop and the happiest customers were the ones who bought early and transitioned into bigger sizes. They felt fashionable and comfortable throughout.
• We will discuss your budget and lifestyle and decide what will work for you.
• Do you feel overwhelmed any time you go into a baby store? I can also help you build your layette (baby basics) and set up your gift registries so that you will have baby items that actually get some use.

Travel Fees

Nouveau Image services can travel!

• For out of town clients (more than one hour travel time one-way) there is a travel time charge of $25/hr plus reasonable expenses, including ticketing and/or car service in advance.
